About

Engineer who designs. Designer who ships.

The long version

I'm Rhythm, a full-stack and DevOps engineer from Ajmer, Rajasthan. I write TypeScript most days, Python and Go when the job calls for it, and more shell scripts than I'd like to admit.

I got into this the unglamorous way — an internship at a small firm in Jaipur while I was still in college, deploying real apps onto real servers and breaking plenty of them. That turned into building products end to end: a short-link SaaS at Yorker, a VPN app I grew to 50,000+ users and a movie-finder at AppyHigh, enterprise systems at Glidewell, and now the Workflows platform at HighLevel, where the code I touch runs billions of times a month.

The thread through all of it is that I like owning the whole line — the UI, the API, and the infrastructure underneath. Lately a lot of that is AI: building agents, wiring up RAG, and getting LLMs to do real work instead of demos.

I care about craft, but I try not to let it become an excuse to never ship.

How I work

Opinions, earned.

  • 01

Ship it, then make it good.

A rough thing in front of real users teaches me more than a perfect thing in Figma. I'd rather learn than guess.

  • 02

    Boring tech, on purpose.

I reach for the dull, proven tool first. Clever is a tax you pay every time you open the file again.

  • 03

The infra is part of the product.

How something deploys, scales, and falls over at 2am matters as much as how it looks. I like owning the whole line.

  • 04

Leave it better than I found it.

Small cleanups compound. I try to make the next person's job — usually future me — a little easier.

Off the clock

When I'm not shipping.

  • Chess

I play on chess.com — badly, but consistently.

  • Music

I play guitar and keyboard, and I'm slowly picking up drums, harmonica, and flute.

Where I'm at

Happy where I am — open to good conversations.

I'm not job-hunting. But I like meeting people who care about building things well, so if you've got an interesting problem, a project, or you just want to talk shop, my inbox is open.
